Do as I say not as I do...
The other day I ate a packet of biscuits in one sitting and Husband pointed out that those kind of pig outs were numbered. We have a problem. How can I explain to my daughter that just because mummy eats endless chocolate, biscuits, cakes, crisps and ice cream it doesn't mean she can. Amaia takes an interest in everything I eat and always wants to try my meals, this is fine when it's cereal and yoghurt in the morning, a sandwich or soup for lunch and I even share my almost daily pain au chocolat (admittedly she gets a non chocolate bit!) but I won't give her my other naughty snacks - biscuits, chocolate and crisps - which means I can only eat them when she sleeps. Unfortunately my cravings aren't as predictable as her sleep times so I am going to have to practice a lot of self control from now on. But she's asleep now, husband is out and I'm off to scoff some pancakes with maple syrup! Good night!
