Has it almost been a week since I wrote? Wow! Where did the time go? The thing is I have had tones to write and each day in my head I compose an evening post but actually typing it up with Amaia around is impossible and by the time Amaia is asleep I am too tired to do anything other than lie on the sofa. So hopefully today I can write some type of week update.

Thursday and Friday last week were great as I had a good friend come and visit me from London. Amaia played along with our plans on Thursday and duly fell asleep after lunch leaving Zoe and I to have a good catch up. Post siesta the afternoon was spent walking down to the beach and having a coffee. In the evening it was dinner at Cosmo, all the while we didn't stop nattering and catching up. It was great. Friday was gloriously sunny so we enjoyed more beach time and had an Amaia free afternoon which meant lunch with husband and then the heavenly ESPA at the Metropole. It was all over far too soon though and Zoe left after our massages. I spent the evening floating in a bubble of bliss enjoying the after effects of my massage.

Back down to earth with a bump though as on Saturday I had Amaia all day as husband went skiing. It was challenging to say the least! Thankfully I had Zoe's delivery of Galaxy chocolate, Jelly Babies and chocolate digestives to see me through the tougher moments.
Sunday was much better. We enjoyed the sunshine at the house and also found time for a beach walk once we got back to Monaco.

This week is going to be fine whatever happens because I have Amelie almost every day! Yesterday I had a doctors appointment and got to see Baby L yawning and sucking his/her hand. Personally, I think Baby L is a boy. Today I had an Amaia free afternoon and enjoyed lunch on the beach with a friend plus a little shopping. And Thursday I am also getting some quality time with another friend. Basically I recently came to the realisation that however tired I'm feeling now it's going to nothing in comparison to how I am going to feel in a few months time. Plus these next few weeks before the baby is born are probably going to be the last times I can get out alone!! I am therefore making the most of Amelie while I can!

That's enough for now. Exhausted again! Good night.
