This week has been much quieter. It has also been productive when needed but I've still found some down time. The trick is telling myself I'm not rushed off my feet and there is a time for everything. Sometimes I forget. Then I remember. Stop. And breathe. I'm far from a zen master but I'm also a less harassed version of last week!
Admittedly the second half of the week is more calm but there is always stuff to do that I hadn't planned. Today I'm off to Carrefour to buy some things for those people badly hit by Storm Alex last week, then I will drop the off at the school collection point. All takes time.
The count down has begun for the weekend and in usual style we have filled our Monaco weekend with dinner with friends and numerous play dates for the girls. Amaia is also having her first ever blow dry at a proper hairdressers. I tried to put her off but she has clearly inherited my family's love of hairdressers that I don't share at all! (My first haircut of 2020 booked for tomorrow! And that only happened to make me look presentable this weekend!)
Right my coffee is finished and Carrefour in all its glory beckons. Laters. X
