Long (and painful) Easter

One day I will print out this blog and give a copy to both my girls so they can have some insight to their "boring" parents pretty cool life before them!

Maybe in a couple of decades Amaia might open to this page and I just want to say to her: potty training you was HELL!

I don't know why I decided to start last Thursday but knowing we would have four day at the house without any distraction I thought it might be worth a try. It meant I spent five days mopping up mess and washing wet clothes and not leaving the house. It was a very unpleasant five days trying to break a very stubborn Amaia's love of nappies. Yesterday we reached rock bottom with too many accidents but today has been a roaring success. Finally, on day six! I know there will be more accidents and trials on the way but finally at over 37 months there is a glimmer of hope that Amaia is ready to wave good bye to her beloved nappies!
