A new chapter...

Last week I got some surprising (and disappointing) news, MaryAnn is moving back to America. Her husband has been offered a great job in San Francisco and they are leaving at the end of the month. I always knew she was too good to be true... MaryAnn is now busy saying goodbye to friends and packing and so this week I have managed without her until this afternoon. It was bearable, there were fun moments and frustrating ones (Amaia and her "accidents") but overall it made me realise that I don't need as much help as I used to. It is getting easier. Yay! I feel like MaryAnn came when I felt like I needed lots of help and she was amazing, interacting and stimulating the girls like no one else has. Even when she leaves I know her fantastical games will remain favourites with the girls. But her work here is done and the "stressed out and struggling mum" chapter comes to an end.
