Well, this may be shorter than planned as Amaia appears to be stirring just when I sit down. Typical.
I can't believe it is almost Christmas. Our flat is feeling very un-Christmassy as we didn't put a tree up this year because Amaia was sure to bring it crashing down and we haven't put up any decorations either. We have a few Christmas cards but I don't send any so don't really expect any back. As we supposedly aren't spending Christmas in Monaco it didn't seem to matter too much that the flat was bare but now with all this snow and travel complications I wonder if we will make it to London for Christmas this year. Husband did throw the driving option out there but I think I have managed to convince him that was pure craziness. So now we are sitting and waiting to see what the weather, BA and Heathrow have in store for us on Thursday. We cannot even prepare a plan B.
Annoyingly, all my Christmas presents (admittedly not very many) are in London awaiting my arrival as are a number of things I ordered to pick up there. So if we are stranded in MC we will also be without presents and other goodies. DAMN! (Amaia's awake, back in a minute.) I am hoping BA gets its act together before Christmas... Fingers crossed!
