Missing MC

So it took an unexpected two month stay in Tourrettes in  lockdown conditions for me to start missing Monaco. I miss the flat. It's small but comfortable. I miss only having a bathroom!! There is less to clean!! I mostly miss my clothes though... I came to Tourrettes for a weekend and ended up staying two months!! I miss my shirts. I am fed up of T shirts. I miss bright colours!! I can't wait to wear any type of earrings other than hoops! I know I will be mostly in doors but I will still be getting dressed every morning as if I was going outside and I will probably appreciate all the lovely items in my wardrobe a whole lot more after this forced separation!!

And yet, despite my new found  appreciation I have also realised I have SO MUCH STUFF and I don't really need anymore. That's hard. I love browsing online shops but now I see the futility in it. I love buying a bargain, but really? When will I wear the new dress? New shoes? New anything? I am craving an online purchase and desperately searching for my next fix (even from Amazon! Anything will do!) but at the same time fighting to remain strong and not make any random and unnecessary purchases online. I need to make do more and consume less especially when the consuming is done with the quick click of a button. I hope this change isn't just a phase and becomes my new attitude. Only time will tell....

The absolute irony is when I've stopped shopping online someone else has been using my card and doing sprees on Farfetch I can only dream of!! (Luckily the payment was refused. Phew!)
