Not Fair!

I haven't written for a while because 1)I was being lazy 2)there really hasn't been much to report back. How many times can I write "things are ticking along nicely"? But today things aren't ticking along nicely and I have a mega dose of feeling sorry for myself. I've caught the nastiest cold ever and it really has drained everything out of me. Even getting lots of rest isn't helping because I am having such disruptive, bad quality sleep. On top of that tonight I'm suppose to be going to the Metropole Hotel bar for a girlie night of champagne and mini burgers. I have organised it, booked the table and was sooooo looking forward to it but now.... I'm not even sure I'm well enough to go. I am sooooo disappointed. I'm hoping there will be a miraculous recovery by this evening but this kind of cold won't be clearing up or easing off after 48 hours.
