Merry Christmas!

I am home, at my parents house surrounded by my family. It is slightly chaotic. Very noisy. Occasionally frustrating. But I couldn't be happier and I wouldn't have it any other way.

It has been a good year. I rediscovered sleep most importantly which made me a MUCH happier person. I had some me time, started reading again, had a few lovely weekends away, got fit again and generally I know I am happy and so grateful for my life which is fully of blessings.

I am sure 2014 will bring its challenges and dramas as well as it's laughs and love. I am sure there will be more happiness to enjoy and more things I can look forward to, aim for and work towards. As i lie in bed writing this i realise that this uneventful domesticity of all of us under one roof is when I am truly happy. It is happiness in its purest and simplest form. I feel the warm comfort of family love, where i am accepted (despite my flaws), indulged and spoilt, understood, appreciated and in this cocoon that is Hotel Papas i feel my heart expand as it tries to fit it all in. Right now I could burst with happiness.

And on that super positive note I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and may all your dreams come true in 2014.
