Summer dreams...

I'm still not getting a good night's sleep hence the long periods of silence. All is going well except for Leia's sleeping. During the day she is so settled in her routine but at night she just wants to socialise. It has got to the point where I just check on her a couple of times and then I have to leave her to settle. Thankfully that four hour session was a one off but it still means a broken night for all of us. There really isn't much news and my mind set is speeding towards Summer although this week the weather is resembling winter. I have spent a lot of mornings down on the beach, spending a fortune at La Note Bleu. I have had a couple of lunches down at the beach too with Amaia who has surprised me by behaving beautifully. Phew! Last week I also has lunch with friends at The Fairmont. It was lovely to have some me time. My only disappointment was I turned up flustered and looking like a harassed mum rather than a lady than lunches. The glorious weather of previous weeks meant we have really got to enjoy the house. I am sooooooooooo excited about the Summer there. Amaia is already enjoying full use of the lawn and I think Leia will be following soon as she's almost walking. This Summer the house will be fully functioning and we will have toddlers instead of babies. I know there will be other stresses but I'm just looking forward to enjoying our home with the girls for the first time. We will be able to swim together, run around the garden, eat ice cream, have picnics, enjoy water fights, play catch or football, walk to the village with or without two buggies and so on. And the best thing is that Summer feels just round the corner because of an extended trip to Spain at the end of May and then my parents coming over three weeks later. Their arrival means my Summer has officially begun! Anyway Husband is on his way home so I better get dinner sorted. If you don't hear from me for a while blame Leia!
