Smiling

Things aren't what I'd call easy but they are definitely easier.

Today has been a good day. First of all Leia slept all night. Then Amaia and I spent the morning celebrating Otto's birthday and she was surprisingly well behaved. She didn't stuff her face with sweets and when the cake came out she immediately sat at the table ready to eat, all the other kids were running around on their sugar highs. After the party I took Amaia for lunch on the beach with a friend and her son. Again Amaia was so well behaved. She played until the food arrived and then sat down and ate everything on her plate a selection of healthy, chicken and tomatoes and unhealthy chips and pizza. When she'd finished she went off to play again. I admit I am a very proud mother today. Plus she looked super cute and relatively tidy in her little pink dress.


We didn't get back until nearly two which meant naps were slightly out of sync today. I was shattered too and passed out on the sofa. I'm not sure if it's the heat but the girls seem subdued this afternoon so we have stayed in and watched cartoons and played and I can't believe how the afternoon has flown by. At one point I had Amaia styling and brushing Leia's hair which Leia loved. Now they are watching their bed time programme...(Actually Amaia is rearranging our sofa cushions but she's being quiet.) I'm off to make their bed time milk. Have a good evening.
