The Highs and Lows of the Week

Lows:
Husband was away for three nights in London. That's three nights and mornings of dealing with the girls alone!
Leia slept very, very, very badly.
Thursday morning hangover.
No nursery on Thursday for Amaia.
Leia got a cold and a cough and I had to take her to the doctor.
Leia cried a lot.
Too cold and windy to play outside - for Amaia not me!

Highs:
I had Joyce a lot this week.
Wednesday night dinner with the girls at Avenue 31. A truly fabulous night!
Got into my black pencil skirt and I think I looked OK.
I got some compliments from my neighbour about how I'm always smiling and another mother about how I always look so relaxed with the girls. Nice to hear but hardly true!
Recovery lunch on Thursday at the Beef Bar. Knowing that burger was on the horizon made Thursday morning bearable.
Husband's return.
A little siesta on Sunday.

Next week should have even more highs as we head to Hotel Papas for Christmas! Yay!
