A taste of hell and heaven

The lack of sleep, general discomfort and exhaustion at being eight months pregnant plus a big dose of hormonal unreasonableness probably makes me wife from hell at the moment. Poor husband.... Saturday was a bad day. I was tired, it rained all day and we were stuck in the house with not much to do. Thankfully Amaia kept herself entertained walking around and making a mess but i still had to keep an eye on her and I just couldn't switch off making me stressed and fed up for most of the day. Then Amaia woke up early in the evening and threw up her dinner all over herself and me. I cleaned her, Husband had the unfortunate task of clearing up the mess. Once again, poor Husband!

Thankfully Sunday and Monday were much better weatherwise and we were able to be out and about. Today was positively chilled out in comparison - I had Amelie take Amaia this morning and the cleaner come so there was nothing for me to do other than to have a leisurely coffee and croissant whilst reading a magazine and then a browse around the shops. A very, very, very relaxed morning! More of those please!

For some reason this week feels very short and like I'm on holiday - tomorrow morning we have a planned beach play date and Thursday morning I have Amelie taking Amaia which leaves two afternoons in Monaco before I head back to the house. This also takes us through another week which brings me even closer to my parents arriving. THREE WEEKS TOMORROW! I cannot wait!

In the meantime I have the arrival of a VIP in two weeks so I can look forward to a leisurely lunch and a well deserved glass of champagne in excellent company... Unless Baby L decides to join us!
