What a year!

In September, Husband and I will have known eachother for 20 years. That's more than half our lives. Half of this time we barely said more than a hello to eachother. I think we had a conversation or two and I do recall sitting next to him in a car after our sixth form leavers' Mass.

Then in February 2002 we started to go out having bumped into eachother again. Husband waited four years to propose (Feb 2006) and then we waited another four to have a baby (Feb 2010) - you may have noticed February is a big month for us.

Anyway it's February again. And if I look back on the last year it's been HUGE. Amaia was born, we bought the house, we did up the house (ongoing task) and I got pregnant again. All in the space of twelve months. Talk about life changes - there is no denying we are adults now! Sometimes the stress is a bit much to take but then I remind myself that for the couple that did everything so slowly we definitely hit the fast forward button this last year and maybe it hasn't been a laugh a minute but it's been an amazing experience, a huge learning curve and a challenge and I couldn't imagine our lives any other way now. But before our twelve months of manicness ends, Husband has added one more thing to our life changing year - a new job.

I'm thinking of you today Mr L - Good Luck!!
