Chaos

It's just gone 19h00 and Amaia is in bed. I have collapsed on the sofa and at this point could see how a glass of wine would be a great way to finish my shift but obviously I won't be indulging myself on that one. The living room looks like it has been hit by a hurricane, toys are strewn everywhere, drawers are open ( Amaia has taken to emptying and reorganizing them...), there are empty water bottles, packaging, cds and dvds and all the other things i try to distract her with when she gets bored of her toys. The ironing still needs to be put away as does my paperwork and I just sit here and wonder will our living room ever be ours again or is it destined to be a play room forever. Anyway, I shall cheer myself up with a can of Coke and some cheese and crackers and watch an episode of The Good WIfe - the tidying can wait and I have mastered the art of ignoring the chaos around me.
