Things have definitely changed since Amaia arrived. My world seems to revolve around the needs of the cutest, cuddliest baby I have ever seen - feeding her, changing her, holding her, comforting her, looking at her, listening to her, talking to her, playing with her - all this is done with a massive smile on my face! I cannot believe she is here, she is mine and I am now a mummy. It feels so surreal and yet so natural and normal. Of course, this has all been made ridiculously easy with the help of my parents and husband. I haven't cooked a meal since I came out of hospital, I haven't washed a dish or ironed an item of clothing, I haven't done a shop (apart from baby clothes) and I have been able to catch up on my sleep during the day know my baby is in super safe hands. In fact of all the jobs I have the easiest one! I sit on my rocking chair, feeding Amaia and having anything I need brought to me!! How good is that?! Yeah, this mummy still knows how to be a lady of leisure!!!!
