Bye Bye Bump

Here's a picture of the bump at 39 weeks and 6 days.

I know I haven't said good bye to my bump yet BUT I am preparing myself for its semi disappearance in the next few weeks (or better still days!). I like my bump. It hasn't been that uncomfortable and it has been relatively stress free to dress. The last few weeks it has gotten bigger but I haven't had to resort to new outfits. In fact it's probably the only time I've properly fitted into my maternity wear!!

I've never had a great relationship with my stomach and usually avoid wearing anything tight or fitted but being pregnant actually gave me a rock hard stomach!! Abs of steel!! (Although it is more keg like than six pack!) And I've quite happily worn tight, fitted tops and dresses that I would never wear if I was my non-pregnant self. All this while happily scoffing my face. What a benefit!!!
